SPACE

What is SPACE?

SPACE stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions and is a treatment program for parents. The goal is to help parents better understand their children and their anxiety and OCD-related problems.

SPACE was created by Dr. Eli Lebowitz at the Yale Child Study Center and has been tested and found to be extremely effective through various clinical trials.

Who is SPACE for?

SPACE aims to treat children with anxiety disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Although children aren't the main focus during SPACE sessions, and the sessions are mainly for the parents, the children are still the patients. When SPACE treatment is successful, these children will feel less anxious and function much better.
